Hi everyone...
I am actually a grade 12th student who bought a raspberry pi 5 and a Hyperpixel4 for a AI project... It is about a automatic attendance logging system...
The problem is in Raspbian OS, PySide6 ( where I created my GUI ) is not installing, whatever I do, it is not installing... but everything else is fine... I then shifted to ubuntu for a trial and found PySide6 to work there but at the same time, the library PiCamera2 wont install... I mainly use opencv and cv2 for my project, but when It comes to raspberry pi, the pi camera module is not working with cv2 or opencv, the usb cameras work fine with it... all the libraries are working fone and executing perfectly in windows.. its just linux which is making problems... moreover, in ubuntu, the hyperpixel4 display is also not working... as soon as the ubuntu loading page comes, the screen just blacks out... its backlight does not turn on . no matter what I try, it doesnt work... Once the backlight woruld turn on and remain in that black grey state... then when I reboot Ubuntu, the last screen where the terminal closes evrything will appear in the display for 1 sec and then power off... but the display works very well with Raspbian OS... I have the latest version of everything.. bought the device just weeks back... I have to submit this project by this month end... Appreciate it if anyone could help...

Hey Joel!

I don't think you're going to get any help other than related to hyperpixel specific issues in this repo, have you tried reaching out on the raspberry pi forums or in stack overflow?

Another friendly piece of advice: Statements such as "whatever I do, it is not installing..." are not really helpful for the people that might be able to help you, including logs or screen captures will greatly increase the chances of getting a positive response from someone.

All the best!
