mysql> create table t1 (a bigint unsigned);
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0,08 sec)

mysql> insert into t1 values (0xfffffffffffffff0);
Query OK, 1 row affected (0,04 sec)

mysql> insert into t1 select a + 1 from t1;
Query OK, 1 row affected (0,03 sec)
Records: 1  Duplicates: 0  Warnings: 0

3. What did you see instead (Required)

tidb> create table t1 (a bigint unsigned);
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.01 sec)

tidb> insert into t1 values (0xfffffffffffffff0);
Query OK, 1 row affected (0.00 sec)

tidb> insert into t1 select a + 1 from t1;
ERROR 1690 (22003): BIGINT UNSIGNED value is out of range in '(test.t1.a + 1)'
tidb>
