How can i create a coverage badge from action coverage.yml

Have you a solution or hint to create a badge with the coverage value? I see the summary table with the values but i have no idea to parse this.

Oh, good point, no I have no idea about it unfortunately. I very much expect that it is possible.

In this case, rather the detailed table, you just want a number, and I very much expect that some utility from the python coverage tool might be able to extract this number from the XML files generated.

Then with GHA you can extract that number and make it available somehow(?) to this badge.

Given how popular are these badges, if you look at popular python projects that use them, you might get an idea how they are doing that 👍🏾
