Plone 4 compatibility - last version 2.1.1?!

On https://pypi.python.org/pypi/plone.app.dexterity/2.4.6, right below the TOC, there is a note, stating:

2.1.1 is the last Plone 4 compatible release.

Is this true? There is no hint in the changelog; the only "Breaking change" mentioned there refers to version 2.4.0.

Version 2.1.1 is dated from 2014-04-13, while there is as well a version 2.1.20 from 2016-03-31. Version 2.1.2 would have been a strange choice for dropping the Plone 4 support.

So, please:

• Is the current Dexterity version still Plone 4 compatible?
• If not - can it be made compatible?
  • Could at least version 2.1.20 (or the tip of 2.2 or 2.3) be made compatible?

On https://docs.plone.org/external/plone.app.dexterity/docs/install.html, there seems to be the same text as on the Plone 4 version ("Note: Plone 4.3 is the latest release of Plone"). No hint about the latest version for Plone 4 on either of them.
