if you add a plone site with a name "supercoolproject" and register a static resource with the same name

    <plone:static type="contentlayout" name="supercoolproject" directory="layouts/content" />

you won't be able to access it

Cannot locate object at: http://localhost:8080/supercoolproject/++contentlayouts++supercoolproject
