Confirm where firmware code is living

I've seen references on different pages, most recently https://github.com/ploopyco/headphones/blob/master/firmware/README.md saying not to use the firmware here, only use firmware in the george-norton fork. But, looking at GitHub release times and file timestamps, this repo's releases are still newer. Could someone confirm the current status, and possibly fix at least that README?

I'm having USB-related problems and thought I might as well look at the code, but this has been confusing. Thanks!
