With the spo-document-sets-modern-new-form script, I am finding that this falls out of line with the normal alphabetical order of a Document Set name in a Library.
Example: Before running this script, if I create a Document set called "A test" using the classic form and a regular folder called "B test", because folders come first in a library, they will be ordered with the "B test" folder first followed by the Document Set "A test". Once I run this script, the order of these reverse, so SharePoint thinks the document set is a folder so it will be "A test" Document Set first followed by the "B test" folder. Now if I rename the Document set to anything else and then rename it back to "A test", then it will correctly sit below "B test" again.
Now this might never be a problem for you if you only ever have Document Sets in a Library, you never rename those Document Sets and you only ever create them with this form. But if like me you use Power Automate to create Document Sets, well then they go in to the correct order, a stark contrast to those created manually with the modern form.
I am in the middle of asking Microsoft how I can reverse this script. They are a little cranky with me for running this to be honest, but they need to get thier act together and modernise these forms!!
Anyway, anyone know how I can reverse this script?
Thanks
