As part of the International data science team your job will be to help our teams, both commercial and RnD, to make great decisions, quickly. You will focus on the challenges that arise from adapting Shopify to local commerce needs and requirements, and help our teams steer into the right direction by providing the right data at the right time.</p><p><em>Please note, this team is based in EMEA/Europe, and we are specifically looking for people to join us in these regions only.</em></p><p><strong>Your responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Gather context to solve ambiguous problems that leads to long term impact</p></li><li><p>Partner closely with product, engineering and other business leaders to influence decisions with data</p></li><li><p>Apply different analytics and data science methods to inform improvements to our business</p></li><li><p>Identify, design and implement end-to-end focal data pipelines that scale and allow data & product to move fast</p></li><li><p>Identify and build actionable KPIs, production-quality dashboards, informative deep dives, and scalable data products</p></li><li><p>Advance best practices within data science and product teams</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>You will need to have:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Deep technical experience that inspires individual contributors, creativity and innovation.
