Describe the bug
No search bar in Places screen with disable animation option and emulator without Google APIs

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Download image for emulator without Google APIs
  2. Disable animation for emulator
  3. Go to Places screen
  4. No search bar

Expected behavior
Places page without search bar

Screenshots

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Pixel 3a XL
  • OS: Android 11 API level 30
  • App version 1.6.7
