Markdown allows two styles for code blocks:

  • triple backtick: ```
  • triple tilde: ~~~

Triple backtick works fine:

```{scheme}
(display "works fine\n")
```

But triple tilde does not work:

~~~{scheme}
(display "does not work\n")
~~~
