Install Vivaldi though their deb package.

  1. Load Twitter/X then sign into the website
  2. Click to fullscreen any video
  3. The comp freezes

Moving to another TTY and back sometimes fixes the issue where the video will be the default size and not fullscreen.

This also happens with videos in Steam's website as well.

Having the same problem on fedora.
All my full screen steam games lock up the compositor.
Running in window mode allows me to play games.
