When booting on a laptop (I'm using a first gen Oryx) with the lid closed, the machine suspends repeatedly. Usually once a few seconds after the login prompt appears and again during the login process.
After logging in and waking the machine from suspend it behaves normally until the user logs out.
Steps to reproduce (if you know)
Attach an external keyboard and monitor to the laptop.
Boot the laptop without opening the lid (or close the lid early in the boot sequence).
Attempt to log in.
Expected behavior
When the lid is closed the external monitor will show the boot sequence and allow the user to log in fully without suspending.
