Hang On Shutdown After Update to Kernel Version 5.11

Issue/Bug Description:
After the recent update from kernel v. 5.8 to 5.11, my computer freezes on shutdown. I have to turn it of manually. It worked fine before.

You are right, it seems like the same problem. The only difference is that my screen stays on (it's black, but the backlight is still on) and the shutdown does not work occasionally in my case, it always fails.

If you want, you can close this issue and I can follow pop-os/linux#41. If i have anything additional to report I can do it there.
