Issue/Bug Description:

There seems to be an issue in the current libXft included in Pop, though I believe the upstream Ubuntu version fixes this issue. Could you look into bumping the version?

I tried submitting a bug report using ubuntu-bug libxft2 but eventually met with this error:

*** Problem in libxft2

The problem cannot be reported:

This does not seem to be an official Pop!_OS package. Please retry after updating the indexes of available packages, if that does not work then remove related third party packages and try again.

Is there a preference on how to submit this bug upstream?

Looks like the updated package is in 24.04 but not in 22.04.

You would have to manually create a bug report on Launchpad.
