Bundle Identifier stable?

Hi, is the Mac app bundle identifier going to stay the same going forward? (The value of CFBundleIdentifier in the info.plist file from the Mac app package contents.) It has changed once since initial release.

I'm asking because the bundle identifer is used to enable Cursorless (a tool for voice based code editing associated with the Talon ecosystem) in Positron. It's really great that the VSCode origins of Positron mean that Cursorless can work with Positron!

Hi @srhrnkn, thank you for noting that. The previous changes were made after we established a https://positron.posit.co site. The current value of co.posit.positron follows the convention of using a reverse domain name for CFBundleIdentifier. With the company domain and product name in use, and that it matches the site (in reverse) for Positron, it seems like a reasonable value. One minor note, I have seen some vendors capitalize the first letter of the leaf name in their ids for their app, but I don't know of any plans to do so for Positron's CFBundleIdentifier.
