Polish with dots is not correctly justified

I made a little score with 2 voices to test the behaviour of the polish feature.
It looks like the feature is getting fooled by the dots:

B.t.w. the polishing of of 1/8 notes and dotted 1/8 + 1/16 is the same choice as in PTE 1.7:

Sibelius handles the issue slightly different, but too complicated for PTE. The 2nd note in both voices receives a little more space than the other notes:

Please regard the 1/8 issue only as an observation, not as an issue that should be solved.
