Bug description

To replicate, swap renderer to OpenGL and attempt to restart. The game no longer opens, if you right-click the application in the dock, it shows "Application Not Responding". The only way to get the game to open again without a fresh download, is to change the renderer in the framework.ini file. OpenGL (Legacy) works as expected.

I am running macOS Sonoma 14.3 (23D56).

That renderer will be gone and legacy will be the new OpenGL, see #27265.
