Scroll Wheel

Has anybody found a way to modify a scroll wheel function?

I'm looking to change a second peripheral (Razer Tartarus)'s scroll wheel to zoom in and zoom out. It would have to be a complex modification for scroll up to be zoom in (command +) and scroll down to be zoom out, but I'm not sure how to find the scroll commands.
