Are you in Firefox strict mode? Some others have reported it isn't compatible with advertising

Thank you for your answer @patmmccann

It seems the shield icon is enabled by default when you visit a new website.
I can see a JS error in the log and I was wondering if it could disturb the process.

This is quite a reasonable concern, but not one this project can impact as far as we know? cc @rbarbini-ias @raguilar-ias @bengel-ias do you want to comment or change your documentation?
