Error not erroneous... ;-)
this syntax is correct...

for a in [1,2,3] : if a % 2 : print( f"{a}" );

invalid syntax (, line 1)

for a in [1,2,3] : if a % 2 : print( f"{a}" ) else: pass;

invalid syntax (, line 1)

for a in [1,2,3] :
... if a % 2 :
... print( f"{a}" );

invalid syntax (, line 2)

;-)
