When I click on the change link, I actually see 2 types of iDEAL ("Direct debit (mandate via iDEAL)" and normal "iDEAL"). Which of these two iDEAL should he choose?
When using the subscription action link for updating the payment method, both the "Direct debit (mandate via …)" and iDEAL/Bancontact/Sofort methods are listed. It might not be clear what the difference is. In the past, "iDEAL" could not be used for recurring payments and was not listed, but now it is. There is also "Card" and "Creditcard", which might be confusing too.
