It'd be nice for people depending on this library to make that dependency explicit and have an easy way to pull in any updates. The natural way for that would seem to be publishing this as an npm package.

This would be equally useful for at least some ProPublica projects -- certainly some of the stuff I've been working on.

@ethanresnick would you want anything beyond npm? I feel like targeting npm covers the vast majority of use-cases.

That PR adds a package.json that I've used so that column-setter plays nice with npm-sass. Not sure how complete it is, but hopefully this gets it partway to resolving this.
