Description:
Support results from the kad-DHT against requests to support Lassie/Saturn L1s
This milestone is part of the [Bedrock/IPNI] Roadmap #1.

Objectives:

  • [Support results from the kad-DHT against requests to support Lassie/Saturn L1s]

Key Deliverables:

  • [Both Filecoin and IPFS users can initiate a file retrieval request in under 500ms to first provider response(TTFP) leverage Saturn.]
  • [Indexstar can accept ndjson requests to enable streaming earliest results back due to differing latencies and support the necessary changes to HTTP delegated routing.]

Note: This milestone is subject to change as priorities and circumstances evolve.

Our objectives of Filecoin and IPFS users being able to initiate retrieval requests by performing lookups in IPNI via Lassie supported by caskaDHT to cascade results are complete to the degree Rhea can leverage them, and no modifications are presently known as necessary to support future scaling other than operation behaviors like AWS instance sizing maintenance.

IndexStar can accept ndJSON lookups.
