Is there a way we can run exporter using non-root user ?

The K8's cluster we use is enabled with PSS (Pod security standard) in restricted mode. We will not be able to run the exporter using root ID 0. Is there a way to run this using non-root user ?

Just run it, I think so. You can setup listerner port which is greater than 1000 (port below 1000 require root permission)
