Several new users today have posted because they missed the requirement to set the medtronic pump's temp basal type to units/hour.
They have also gotten misleading error messages (decoding errors, etc) instead of seeing the warning we'd typically want them to see ("is your pump suspended, priming, or set to % basal?"). In one of the cases, she did see the message but was still not alerted to understanding how to solve the problem.
So, can we add a message on this otherwise mostly blank screen to help? Instead of saying "Your pump is ready for use" can we say "Your pump is almost ready for Loop. Please verify under your pump's menu that the temp basal type is set to units/hour. You can find this under Basal, Temp Basal Type. If your pump is set to a temp basal type of percent, Loop will not be able to set temp basals."
