Templates may introduce a necessity for a more powerful manipulation tool than the sidebar - like deleting, selecting a template first, and only selecting data points after that, manipulating them etc.

This sounds like there are so many features that creating a dedicated page for it is feasible.
However this isn't really part of the current phase (QA as of 05 Aug 21) so this mustn't be given high priority.
