Every .pdf opened has a blue background when scrolling or going full screen.

I cannot reproduce the issue. You will need to provide more information.

Zathura was installed on Fedora40 via 'sudo dnf install zathura'. Not sure this would make any difference but my window manager is Herbstluftwm which uses X11. Here are a couple screenshots of the issue.
