Problem

One of the most frequently asked type of question regarding this tool is how to make sure it and its plugins use or operate on the current project's venv, or else questions about issues caused by having failed to do so:

Proposal

I suggest that there should be a section in the README or under the docs/ folder on this topic which collects all the findings people have compiled so far (e.g.) and suggests some "best practices" for how to approach this topic.
