Cross repo duplicate: python/pythondotorg#2663 |
Same issue here, cannot access any version. |
My team is having the same issue downloading any version of Python from https://www.python.org/ftp/python/ |
Being impacted by this. |
cc @JacobCoffee in case you know how to route this :-) |
I am able to download source tarballs again. US west. |
I am able to download 3.9.20 too. |
I'm able to pull downloads again too for 3.10 and 3.13. I'll close this since it seems to be fixed |
I am out today but from what I can (loosely) gather it was due to a DDOS issue |
Bug report
Bug description:
We regularly download source distributions from python.org/ftp to initialize clusters with and all the sudden we're seeing Access Denied errors. All the links from https://www.python.org/downloads/ seem to lead to python.org/ftp, which all give Access Denied errors. This seems like quite a big deal, I'm sure I'm not the only one expecting to be able to pull these distributions.
