In the documentation you say that mypy accepts a --install-types argument. Nope:

$ mypy --install-types
usage: mypy [-h] [-v] [-V] [more options; see below]
            [-m MODULE] [-p PACKAGE] [-c PROGRAM_TEXT] [files ...]
mypy: error: unrecognized arguments: --install-types
