Its been 2 years since the last commit to this project. I believe updates to this project can help us bring to light the merits of Python as an Educational tool all over the world.

What is the project status?
If yes, can I take it over and invite other people from [Core-Mentorship] to join in?

Hi Folks,

First of all, I must apologise for my tardy response time. I hope you can sympathise with my suffering from a "too much to do and not enough time to do it in" problem.

So the website was created to be a place for the PSF's contributions to the BBC micro:bit could live, but things have since moved on in that respect.

I'd love to work with folks in developing an update to this site. I guess the first thing to work out is the primary function for such a site. Is it simply a signposting / landing page sort of affair to all the other stuff on the web? Perhaps it should host PSF related content about education? I'd certainly like to ensure the work done by volunteers under the auspices of the PSF for the BBC project finds a place to live. What about fostering the wider Python in education community (made up of learners, educators and developers), should the website help them in some way?

I'd love to collaborate.

N.

@ntoll thanks for your rapid response! i just wanted to raise it to you since I'm not sure if you would have been notified of this query directly without :)

Heh... it's a case of "if I don't reply now, time will have flown on and I'll have missed the opportunity". ;-)

I know that the PSF are in the early stages of doing something regarding "Python in education" and this site could be a useful outlet for such work.

In any case, I'm always open to collaboration and opening up opportunities for folks to contribute. The important thing is to have clear aims and a sense of common goals so we can complement and amplify each other's work on this site.

Happy new year, BTW. ;-)
