Fork child process for server

I have a VUE application that works very well with Quasar. In development mode, I successfully started a child process that opens a port for the backend:

All of these in electron-main.js. This works fine in dev mode but I can't seem to wrap my head around why the port doesn't open up in production as it returns: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
