Ah, that is actually a feature to make footnotes easier tapable on phones/tablets. Unfortunately it also applies to regular However, are you sure you want to set the This is a text with a footnote[^1].

Markdown doesn't have native support for the superscript (
<sup>
) tag, but it doesn't generally interfere with using native HTML to display a superscript tag. It appears that in hydejack by default instead of rendering<sup>1</sup>
as "¹", it just displays it as a "1".Instead I've temporarily moved to using this syntax that I'd prefer to avoid:
