Hi all --
maybe I am too much of a doc nerd but would it be possible to clearly state the data types of arguments clearly in the docs? And ditto with the return values. I was just expecting that data_encrypt can take in arbitrary atomic vectors and replies with a character vector of the appropriate length.

I can submit PR of what I can figure out but I feel someone with better insight would be a more suitable person...

Did you have a look at the intro vignette? https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/sodium/vignettes/intro.html
