Hi,
in my Neptune 4 printer is a new Motherboard Version V1.1
there are small differences. so there is no more usb2 port. there are now sled1 and sled2 ports. wonder what they are for.
If you are interested, I can send you photos. should I upload them here or will you give me an email?

If you're referring to the USB2 port that's next to the ethernet port in my photos, that's not stock. It is (was?) possible to solder on a USB port, though, which is what I ended up doing.

If you could post photos here, though, that would be very helpful (including for future readers of this issue).

Hm, there are a couple of interesting changes there.

In terms of those new headers; was there anything plugged into them? Also, is there any text printed on the board between the headers and the edge?

There is no text behind the headers. They Named SLED1 and SLED2 and they for the top led and Printhead led on the printer. upon request, the following was explained to me:

issue was, the control switch light did not respond during printing because the hot bed or hot end was waiting for heating, and the switch light action was still queued. Now the signal control pin of this motherboard is connected to the SOC terminal so is not affected by waiting for heating

I do not have more information.

Oh yeah, I see what they mean. I'll have to look into it further, but I suspect they've done something fairly clever here. Thanks for the help!
