looking up the env var for working dir is annoying

When using the package, I find myself constantly going back to either previous draft code, or going to the package website to see what is the exact name of the env var for the data dir. Is it "SPANISH_OD_DATA_DIR", "SPANISHOD_DATA_DIR", "SPANISHODDATA_DIR"... This is annoying.

So I think it is better to have a simple shortcut function that can be accessed with autocomplete. I strongly think this will improve user experience when using the package.
