Description

PWA updates are not being detected by the app; creating stale and outdated apps.

Reproduction steps

  1. Deploy a new change to the app.
  2. Visit the app.
  3. Wait for a few seconds and encounter no update alert dialog.

Expected behavior

There should be an alert dialog which informs the user that there is an available update for the app.

Relevant log output

No response

Affected browsers (if applicable)

Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge

The fix for this issue is not yet verified. Further testing is required.
