Default installed font messes up Firefox #43

When the default Nerd Font is installed, it entirely changes the emojis used in Firefox. For example, the moon emojis became various flowers. Is there anyway for me to install the font to some other, non-standard location that Firefox won't look for and point nerd-icons to that location?
OS is macOS Monterey, Emacs version is Emacs 29.1

This is strange. Can you provide more information? Which Nerd Font did you use?
