The UI of Kener is extremely visually appealing, and one of the reasons why I like this project. However, when tracking multiple services, the usability of the home page drags down and one has to resort to categorizing services by groups:
However, if all services are categorized into specific groups, the status page ends up displaying no status info (one has to select a specific group first). It would be nice if the group could display an "aggregate" status info for the underlying monitors using the following logic:
For any given time point, the "status" of the group is:
OK, if all of the monitors in the group are OK
Degraded, if any one of the monitors in the group is degraded
Down, if any one of the monitors in the group is down
Mockup below:
This would allow the users to see that "all the services are operational" even in the cases where Kener is used to monitor complicated systems.
