I guess, ramsey/uuid will be deprecated and this will be the way to go? And the reason you've built this is because the Symfony component has support for ULIDs? :)

Eventually, I might deprecate ramsey/uuid, but I don’t plan to do that any time soon.

My plan for ramsey/uuid all along (even before I knew about symfony/uid) was to implement ULIDs and version 6 UUIDs, so this isn’t in response to their library. This is mainly in response to my own desire to start over from scratch and simplify the library, without disrupting the ecosystem.
