Tray icon invisible on initial login on Ubuntu #319
Comments
Hi @serpro69 . Can I assume you're on Gnome 40? |
I installed an Ubuntu VM with the latest GNOME on it and actually I cannot see any tray icons at all. Usually KeepassXC has one but even that one is nowhere to find. I also stunbled upon this: https://blog.console.dev/on-removing-apis-status-appindicators-in-gnome/ So my question is: Did they remove tray icon support from GNOME? I also installed a fresh Manjaro that comes with XFCE and here the tray icon is visible from the moment you turn on "Minimize to tray". I'm confused. |
Hi @ransome1 , Gnome version is 3.36.9 I can see other icons in the tray - keepassxc, discord, slack, to name a few. |
@serpro69 could you please check if this still occurs in the latest developer preview of sleek 2.0? |
Hi @ransome1 , |
