The bug #3016 was fixed for the conda version. However it's still present in the pypi realse of 22.12.

Hi @Intron7 , I was able to run the minimal reproducer script you provided in #3016 on the latest nightly pip packages for 23.04 successfully.

I see the version you listed here is 22.12. Do you need to use that version, or can you use the latest? If the latest release is acceptable, I'll close this issue since the bug no longer seems to be present.

Yes that's perfect. I knew that it was fixed for 22.12 so I wanted to let you know about the error in the pip version.
