In rare situations, the submenu hover is disabled. When this is the case, it is a requirement that the user clicks the parent item, follows the link, and then has access to the submenu. With Client Dash, the first item is an "external" link, so that submenu is never shown.
Either:
A) Make the first submenu item the settings page
OR
B) Allow a settings that causes A (so not that way by default)
