Pick Radius setting defaults back to 5.0

I have noticed this issue after the program decided to revert itself to some previous preferences I had and delete all the customizations I have done with the Pie menus and shortcuts. This is another issue completely which I cannot reproduce, therefore cannot report back on it.

After downloading the latest release and starting anew by reseting the preferences, I have noticed that the Pick Radius always defaults back to 5.0 regardless of which value is being entered.

The issue is persistent on both Linux and Mac OS.

Also, is it preferable to report the bugs here or on the freecad forum?

Update: When setting the value from Preferences -> General -> 3D View Selection, the value is set in program and the value is also updated in the Display -> 3D View pane.
