Hi all
Today I tried to install rAudio on a Rpi Zero 2 W, but I was unable to get the WLAN connected to my existing SSID. I had tried all methods mentioned for setting up the network in BOOT, but everytime the system fell back to Access Point mode.
Finally my solution was to attach a USB-Ethernet adapter (and LAN connection) to the Pi zero at first boot. This allowed me to set the proper country for WLAN (Switzerland), timezone, disable bluetooth etc. beforehand, do all the recommended updates and then select/configure the WLAN using the web interface. After power down, the USB-Ethernet adapter could be removed and since then the WLAN connection works flawlessly.
So my tip for anyone trying to set raudio up on a Pi Zero 2 W is: start with a USB-Ethernet adapter, then configure and update the software before going to WLAN-only operation.
Best regards
Marcel
