With the latest from the UPDATE branch, the left/right balance is good now (testing with the hardware A.Master mixer). The lowest volume setting from Spotify is lower now. Not silent, but I can live with that. The highest volume setting from Spotify is not quite at the safe maximum for this Merus Amp, but sufficient for everyday use. Thanks for the improvements! |

With the Infineon Merus HAT amp on a Pi Zero W1, the idea is to be able to simply play music from Spotify (replacing a Sonos system).
Good news: The image was installed and worked the first time and the instructions are clear. Good job.
Not so good news 1: Volume control from Spotify is not working well. Can not go to zero (meaning to a point where there is no sound coming out). Tried all mixer settings and software mixer as well. "C.R Vol" and software comes closest to zero output.
Not so good news 2: The balance is off, so significantly more sound is coming out of one speaker compared to the other.
Setup:
rAudio 1 • 20220225
5.15.21-1 • armv6l
Raspberry Pi Zero W Rev 1.1
MERUS Audio Amp
Any help is greatly appreciated :)
