Is this a third party extension to firefox? Using a similar feature with brave (built in), I don't experience this kind of issue. I'd be happy to fix this but maybe this is not a problem that can be fixed on our end without breaking other things.
Firefox feels like it's going to be a more used browser than Brave, so I feel like tuning the dark mode to work in it makes sense? Looks like all we'd need to do is make the "played" segment of the player a lighter color than just grey?
I've never seen a progress bar on macOS or iOS in any browser or in the stream-app. Strange it doesn't even show up for me. I didn't know this existed until this issue was created.

Expected behavior
Player track bar is easily distinguishable regardless ofdark mode.
Actual behavior
When using the "dark reader" firefox extension, it's difficult to see the track progress bar.
