ABOUT ME!

I'm a Staff/Lead Data Scientist at ALDI SÜD - International Data & Analytics Services GmbH, Germany. Before joining ALDI SÜD, I worked as a Sr. Data Scientist at Fraunhofer FIT, Germany. I obtained PhD in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University majoring in Explainable AI (XAI) with distinction (Summa Cum Laude). I received the best application paper award at the 9th IEEE International Conference on Data Science and Advanced Analytics (DSAA), Sydney, Australia, 6-9 October 2020. I was awarded the prestigious RWTH Aachen "ICT Young Researcher Award" in 2020 for my outstanding contributions to ICT research. I also received the "Fraunhofer ICT Dissertation Award 2023". Besides, I received the prestigious "Borchers Plaque" as a badge of honour from RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2023!

  • I'm passionate about Applied ML, NLP, Large Language Models (LLMs), MLOps, Knowledge Graphs, and Explainable AI (XAI).
  • I'm a technology lover and love learning, coding, and mentoring.
  • I wrote several machine learning books too.
