Loading vector features from WFS could be considered. Based on the discussions we have had internally, I believe that this change will come in a future major release of the application, however we do not yet have a timeline for such a major release.

Currently I don't think we have any plans to allow loading raster tiles (WMS, WMTS).
@rCarto @neocarto @rysebaert any opinion about adding images from WMS / WMTS ?

I don't know, we'll have to discuss that matter. That's not a small feature to implement I guess...
