Work environment

Questions Answers
OS/arch/bits (mandatory) Windows 10 64-bit
File format of the file you reverse (mandatory) PE
Architecture/bits of the file (mandatory) x86_64
Cutter and r2 version, See About Cutter (mandatory) Version 1.7.1 / Using r2 2.8.0
Show version information full output (See About Cutter) in a pastebin document (mandatory) https://gist.github.com/jamie-cyc/4b03dfc6d356f718429ec50a1e4e6ec1

Expected behavior

The Cutter interface should fit cleanly within the Window size, and the cursor should be accurately lined up with the buttons.

Actual behavior

At the top there is a black gap of around 30 pixels (see screenshots). Cutter also overhangs off the bottom of the screen.

This misalignment also causes the cursor to be out of line. I have to click above a button in order to actually click it (see screenshots).

Steps to reproduce the behavior

Run Cutter on Windows 10 with 'Display Scaling' set to a high value.
I personally use 300% scaling as I have poor vision.
I expect that some applications will not work as intended with such large scaling, but most stuff is usable.

Is there a QT envvar that would allow me to set an over/underscan for the application? That would be a temporary measure at least.

What do you think, is this a dupe of #999? @pelijah @karliss @thestr4ng3r

It would be good to have a more systematic approach to this instead of bunch of user reports about it not working in certain configurations. I'll try to write some notes so that we can understand where we are and how much is missing.
